Cape Schanck Lighthouse Reserve is located at the southernmost tip of (Mornington Peninsula), the Monington Peninsula, south of Victoria's capital, Melbourne, about 100km from the city of Melbourne.
Cape Schanck Lighthouse Reserve offers sightseeing and picnic facilities, with several heritage buildings in the protected area, including a museum and (Cape Schanck Lighthouse), lighthouse at Shink headland, which was built in 1859 and is 21 metres high. From the top of the lighthouse you can enjoy the magnificent views of (Southern Peninsula Coast) on the coast of the South Peninsula and (Bass Strait) in the Bess Channel.
