Makers' Workshop (Makers' Workshop) is located in Burnie., a small coastal town in northern Tasmania.
Makers' Workshop is also home to Burnie's tourist Information Center, (Visitor Information), which opened in November 2009 and won the Tasmanian Architecture Award in May 2010 for the modern architecture.
Visitors to Makers' Workshop, can learn about the history of the handicraft industry in Burnie, buy some interesting local gifts and souvenirs at the gift shop, or enjoy the latest local Tasmanian art works in galleries.
