Sirromet Wines was founded on a trip to Victoria by its founder, when Terry Morris (Terry Morris), a prominent Queensland entrepreneur and businessman, traveled to Victoria where he attended a dinner with several friends. Sirromet Wines follows the principle that the wine naturally blooms its own complex flavor and fruit aromas. They believe that high quality wine originates from vines, so the quality and flavor of the wine come from the grapes cultivated in the Lanatabel vineyard. The winery vineyard covers an area of up to 500 hectares and is located at an altitude of 600 × 1500 meters in Granatabel, where the climate is cool and has weathered granite soil, making it ideal for cultivating grape varieties such as Chardonnay (Chardonnay), Cabernet Sauvignon (Cabernet Sauvignon), (Shiraz) and Merlot (Merlot). In recent years, wineries have also successfully cultivated a number of less well-known varieties, including Vioni (Viognier).
