(Bruny Island), the island of Bruni on the southeast coast of Tasmania, is a narrow sandy isthmus linking North Bruni (North Bruny) and South Bruni (South Bruny) with a total length of about 4 km and the narrowest about 100 m. The Neck is located on the southeastern coast of Tasmania.
On both sides of the The Neck is an endless sea, a path connecting the islands of North Bruni and South Bruni. The gulf on both sides is rough and calm on one side. The Neck is also an important habitat for native flora and fauna on Bruni Island, where many young penguins live and see penguins return to their nests at sunset.
- The The Neck viewing platform (The Neck Lookout) is located on the North Bruni side. After climbing the back 240 steps, you can enjoy the panoramic view of The Neck360 degree.
- Close to South Bruni, there is a simple camping point, only 20 meters from the beach.
