Mount Schank位于南澳大利亚州第二大城市，地处石灰岩海岸（Limestone Coast）上的Mount Gambier南郊，距离Mount Gambier市区约20公里。
Mount Schank高100米左右，由两个陨石坑组成，北部是一个圆形的直径约300米的火山口，而南部火山口的直径约为200米。Mount Schank区在过去曾被大海覆盖，由于一次猛烈的火山爆发，形成了今天的地形，游客在这里可以通过设置的步行道欣赏美丽的景色和野营。
