Cape Hillsborough National Park is located on the east coast of Queensland in (Mackay Region), Cape Hillsborough (Cape Hillsborough), about 50 kilometers from the coastal town of McKay (Mackay), covering an area of 10.22 square kilometers.

Camping and picnicking facilities are available in (Smalleys Beach), Smoles Beach, for camping expenses; school holidays are booked in advance.
