Introduction

The Walls of Jerusalem National Park is located in the central Highlands region of northern Tasmania, about 518 square kilometres west of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, west of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, and is about 140 km from the Launceston, the second major city of Tasmania.

Like the lullaby-Lake St. Clair National Park, Walls of Jerusalem National Park is part of UNESCO's Tasmanian wasteland (Tasmanian Wilderness), one of the world's natural and cultural heritage sites selected by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The name Walls of Jerusalem National Park comes from the geological characteristics of the park, where the landscape is somewhat similar to the ancient walls of Yerusa, and many places and features in the park are named after the name of the Bible, such as the (Herods Gate), of Herod. Solomon Lake (Lake Salome), Solomons Jewelry (Solomons Jewels), Damascus Gate (Damascus Gate) et al. King Davis (King Davids Peak), 1509 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the National Park.

Walls of Jerusalem National Park is a very unpopular tourist destination and, for the sake of protecting the ecology of the famous Tasmanian wasteland, with the exception of some footpaths, there are few artificial facilities in the national park, and tourists can only bring their own equipment. Trekking makes it possible for only real hikers to get here.
