Cactus Beach is located in the northwest corner of (Eyre Peninsula) on the Al Peninsula in southern South Australia, about 855 kilometers from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and the nearest town is about 20 kilometers from Lake McDonnell, a newly online celebrity attraction, about 5 kilometers south.
