Introduction

Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden is located on the southern outskirts of Burnie, a small coastal town in northern Tasmania, about 8 kilometers by car from Burnie and covering about 11 hectares.

Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, the sister garden of (Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens), the royal Tasmanian botanical garden in Horbart, Tasmania, has more than 22000 different varieties of rhododendron, in addition to hybrid rhododendron, which horticulturists are familiar with. Many wild varieties of rhododendron can also be viewed from Asia minor, China, Japan and even North America. From August to February of each year, the garden will show spectacular flower and sea views.
