Ayers House Museum is located on (North Terrace), North Street, northeast corner of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, opposite (University of South Australia), University of South Australia.
Built in 1870, Ayers used to be the home of Sir Henry Ayers, South Australian Prime Minister, and the best-preserved old mansion in Adelaide, although most of the interior items and furniture are no longer original.
Ayers House is open to the public and is guided for about an hour. It is also available for rental for business meetings, parties and weddings.
