Introduction

The town of Tanunda, located in (Barossa Valley), the most famous wine producing area in South Australia, is one of many wineries in the Barosha Valley.

Founded in 1890, Chateau Tanunda is one of the oldest wineries in Australia, located in a historic Bavarian castle building on a scale comparable to that of France's top wineries. After six generations of careful management and the succession of new and old landlords, the most spectacular castle in the southern hemisphere, Australia's oldest winery, is still the most loyal guardian of the Barossa Valley and a symbol of local glory.

Since 1998, Chateau Tanunda has been managed by the (Geber) family of famous winemakers. The Gable family has been involved in the wine industry since 1805. It has long been a familiar trend to run Tentaburg winery. Since it took over the winery business, Chateau Tanunda has produced as many as 25 kinds of wines, from sparkling wine to dry white wine to dry red wine and expensive sweet wine.

The Gable family has also reorganized the winery's interior facilities, set up a luxurious banquet hall for the castle, with a wide leisure area outside the castle, cricket courts, and the romantic garden loved by the wedding newlyweds, attracting nearly 100000 visitors each year, including the preference of world celebrities and dignitaries for all kinds of banquets, as well as cricket competitions for organ donation charities every year. So the world famous cricket star comes to the castle every year. While appreciating the wine, they enjoy the beautiful vineyard scenery. It can be seen that Tanunda winery is also a tourist destination that can not be missed in Australia.

In addition, it is more noteworthy that these beautiful scenery is accompanied by the corresponding fine wine, "Mount Everest" is the high-end flagship product of Tanunda winery, is the Rolls-Royce in the wine, it represents the highest standard of the Barrosa Valley. The Everest series is not produced every year. It produces 1500 bottles only when it comes to a good year. In the ISWC (2010) competition, which is known as the Olympic title of the wine industry, Tanunda winery also has a proud score: (The Everest Grenache 2008, Qomolangma Gohina, 2008) won the first red wine produced in a single vineyard, (Single Estate Red Wine Trophy); (The Everest Shiraz 2005, and won the first (International Shiraz Trophy). In the international Sila.

Tanunda winery adopts artificial picking, soft basket pressing and non-filtration technology to minimize human intervention in the brewing process, so as to fully develop the personality of the grape itself. The combination of traditional methods and high and new technology endows wine with elegant and gentle characteristics. As Mr. John Gerber (John Geber) put it: the accumulation of more than a hundred years of oak and barrel aging experience and master skills are the only stunts for us to make wine; vineyards are our souls; and soft basket presses are our hearts. We pour out all the wines that are complex, rich and delicious.
