Introduction

Range National Park (Gawler Ranges National Park) is located in the southern part of South Australia, north of (Eyre Peninsula) Peninsula, about 650km from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and covers an area of about 1633 square kilometers.

Range National Park is a natural sanctuary for 21 rare and endangered species, including precious southern woolly koalas, with deep canyons, 1.5 billion-year-old volcanic rocks and seasonally-alternately blooming brightly blossoms, a natural sanctuary for 21 rare and endangered species, including the precious southern woolly koala. It's the entrance to Gaulle range (Gawler Ranges), a true natural and ecological country, and one of South Australia's hidden treasures.

Range National Park is best known for its volcanic remains described as (Organ Pipes Amphitheatre), the pipe organ amphitheater, with spectacular columnar joints.

Note: most of the lanes in range National Park are suitable for high-chassis four-drive cars only.
