Mount Lofty Botanic Garden位于Adelaide东南侧的洛夫缔山（Mount Lofty）东侧，距离Adelaide市区约16公里车程。Mount Lofty Botanic Garden占地97英亩，于1977年首次开园。这个凉爽、湿润的植物园主要种植Adelaide平原上的多种植物，部分为澳大利亚所有，部分从其他国家进口而来，主要来自于南美、中国、东非、新西兰、东南亚和北美等国家。生活于园中的植物大都喜欢凉爽的气候，澳大利亚本地的植物以树蕨为主，引进的植物有杜鹃花、木兰、玫瑰花等，其中由多种品种玫瑰组成的玫瑰园被列为文化遗产之一。
Together with (Adelaide Botanic Garden), the Adelaide botanical garden in the city center, and (Wittunga Botanic Garden), on the steep western slope of (Adelaide Hills), Mount Adelaide, Mount Lofty Botanic Garden constitutes the three largest botanical gardens in the city of Adelaide.
