Introduction

Historic Village Herberton is located in (Atherton Tablelands), a historic town on the Atherton Plateau in northeastern Queensland, about 95 kilometers from Cairns.

Founded in 1880, Historic Village Herberton was a tin mine site and is now recognized as the most important open-air museum in Queensland.

Historic Village Herberton, which covers 16 acres, witnessed the early mining boom in Australia, where more than 50 buildings, including shops, bars, banks, pharmacies, schools, etc., were restored. A house has the footprints and characteristics of the old times, old newspapers, old banks, shoemaker shops, old cars and so on, all of which are vividly and vividly displayed, with a large number of works of art and souvenirs on display in each building.
