Fingal Head has an amazing bushland reserve and walking track that climbs to the top of the headland next to the old Fingal Lighthouse. The view from the top includes the unique rock formations of "Giant's Causeway"and view of the Marine Reserve and turtle breeding groundCook Island offshore. Humpback and Southern Right Whales can be seen in abundance from June to September traveling up and down the coast and dolphins are regular visitorsnear the river mouth or off the headland.
