Port Stephens is a 50-minute drive away. Renovated in 2009, the guest house-style accommodation includes shared bathrooms, and rooms include quality towels and linen. Some rooms have their own private bathroom. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and specialises in the fresh produce from the Hunter region. Your breakfast consists of cereal, toasts and a variety of spreads. Casual food including burgers, salmon and stone-baked flat breads are available in the bar, which also features live jazz on Thursday nights. The shared lounge offers tea/coffee making facilities, newspapers and magazines. There is also a shared kitchen so you can prepare your own meals.
