Ulladulla is a small coastal town in (The City of Shoalhaven), (The City of Shoalhaven), in the eastern part of New South Wales, about 220km by car from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and 140km from (Wollongong), the third-largest city in New South Wales. Westbound from the Australian capital Canberra about 190km by car.
Ulladulla's name comes from the native language, meaning "safe haven," and is also said to be an elephant word in the native language that mimics seal calls. Ulladulla has a rich indigenous culture. (Mollymook Beach), Ulladulla's most famous beach in the north of town, is ideal for surfing, snorkeling and fishing, surrounded by holiday villas and an upscale golf course.
