Dorrigo is a small town in (New England Region), New England, northern New South Wales, about 550km south from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and 350km north from Gold Coast, Queensland's second-largest city, with a permanent population of about 1000.
Dorrigo is picturesque on the famous waterfall road, (Waterfall Way), considered by the indigenous people to be "a place of attraction, a place to belong," and the rainforests, mountain passes and waterfalls around the town are considered to be one of the most magnificent sights in New South Wales. The historic town of the main street also has charming rural customs, visit roadside shops, Taobao indigenous art can feel the town's quaint charm.
