Deloraine, a small town in the northern part of Tasmania, is about 50 kilometers from Davenport and (Launceston) at the mid-point of (Bass Highway), the Buss highway that connects Davenport (Devonport) and Langsston (Launceston). The resident population is about 2000.
Deloraine is the handicraft center in Tasmania. Whether it is handicrafts or handmade food, it can be found here. From late October to early November, there will also be a grand exhibition of handicraft products, attended by hundreds of shops. The town will be a big store, a world-wide event for craftsmen.
