Weekend drive, Melbourne, mountain waterfall maple leaf town, with pets set out

 12 Jan 2019

Love outdoor sports Monica, to join hands with good friends, to everyone Amway Melbourne around the self-driving attractions!

Toorongo Falls Reserve, located in Gippsland, east of Melbourne, was unintentionally seen by Monica on Visit Victoria's official website, and when she saw that she could bring dogs with her, she took our dog and told him to walk away.

It's about two hours drive from downtown Melbourne, and the scenery along the way is great. It's not boring at all.

At the foot of the mountain at the foot of the parking lot, the air immediately felt much fresher. There are also outdoor BBQ pavilions and grills, ideal for inviting friends and family to barbecue.

There is a small wooden bridge at the beginning of the trekking route, where one can see the creek spreading from the top of the hill, making one feel that it has crossed to another world.

Toorongo Fall Falls

Walk about 20 minutes from the foot of the mountain to the first sight, Toorongo Fall Falls.

Monica felt that there had been few chances of seeing waterfalls since she came to Melbourne. The waterfall is not big, but it is very chic. It feels like a big movie when you shoot it with your mobile phone.

Amphitheatre Fall

After a brief break at Toorongo Falls, continue walking about 20 minutes upstream of the stream to the second waterfall, Amphitheatre Fall..

The waterfall, as its name implies, is as broad as a stage. It can stand on a viewing platform to see the view, or climb to the top of the waterfall.

This is also the outdoor paradise for dogs, we met several dogs along the way, dogs tired and can drink a little spring from the mountain creek.

Here you can sit by the creek at any time and feel the cool of the summer.

This hiking route is also very suitable for junior climbers, the journey is about 45 minutes.

Noojee Trestle Bridge trestle

After watching the waterfall, you can drive more than ten minutes to the Noojee Trestle Bridge trestle.

This is a very old wooden trestle in Victoria, and the tallest one here, 21 meters tall and 102 meters long. Used to be used as a train shipment, now you can walk on top of it.

Little train Museum

After the Noojee trestle, there is an old train head nearby, can take photos to sign in.

The head of the train was left behind by the former shipping train, with a small train museum next to him. The granddad was very amiable and could be photographed in the hat of the train driver.

Ins @ lztsunny has finished all of this, and if she wants to continue exploring the Gippsland area, Monica recommends Walhalla, the gold-panning town.

This is very suitable for autumn time, the red maple leaves all over the mountains, is really beautiful.

It's about an hour's drive from Noojee, although it's a little far away, but it's still worth going to, like a small European town!

Walhalla has an ancient steam little train, not as many visitors as Puffing Billy, is a very authentic Australian rural experience.

In winter, the Mount Baw is a silver-wrapped ski resort, where Monica went skiing last winter, and the husky sleigh!
