Feel happy-fresh town Bendigo one-day tour introduction

 07 Feb 2017

As we get used to getting caught up in busy urban life, we often overlook the wonderful small towns near Victoria. Within two hours of driving from Melbourne, you will find yourself in a completely different place-a city with its own culture, personality and history. Bendigo (Bendigo) is the state's most cultural town and a vibrant city. Its history dates back to the gold rush, walking in the beautiful and classical Victorian architecture of Bendigo, and you will feel the pace of time slowly remaining in the green and flower-and-bird language.

A short one-day trip surprised me to discover that this small town is home to talented craftsmen, guarded by beautiful historic buildings, and has one of the most prestigious art galleries in Victoria. More interestingly, the streets of the town of Bendigo are filled with a distinctive diet culture.

Our first stop was the Bendigo Creative Crafts Fair. The bazaar is not big, but the atmosphere is very good, most of the stall owners are friendly and proud to introduce their creative products. All products are hand-made, suitable for the original style of small sweeps-mainly hand-made soap, EMILY GREEN-like beads necklace, bracelets, creative greeting cards, interesting small pendants, and gardening crafts. The main products are hand-made soap, EMILY GREEN-like beads necklace, bracelet, creative greeting cards, interesting small pendants, and gardening crafts. After a tour, I bought a fabric bookmark, organic handmade soap for Julies goat milk and McCulu honey, and a bracelet with free-to-change patterns. The next bazaar is June 13th.

The second stop is Bendigo Food supermarket (Bendigo Wholefoods), a standard hippie culture of healthy food stores. Owner Darren Murphy, who has many years of experience in the food and wine industry, is a showcase of his passion for food-from a wide range of local brands to a collection of ingredients from all over the world. The organic and healthy ingredients in the store are presented to you in the freshest way. Not a lot of discounts, no flower Hu what advertising, those bright color, mouth-watering food mix, generous taste, and shop staff between the happy expression, naturally become their best advertising. If you like healthy organic food, this shop is definitely worth a visit. Recommend their pumpkin melon seed bread and hand-made ice Flyin Fox.

Stop three-take the route to the Central Fountain, through Chancery Lane.. Interesting graffiti on the wall is the best place to take photos. Hidden in the alleys, The Dispensary bar is said to have nearly 1000 wines and drinks to choose from.

Across the alley, across the street, Bendigo Town Hall was the building representative of Victoria's most prosperous times. Take a walk in the leafy street garden, breathe the fresh air and stretch the mood.

Unwittingly it's lunchtime, Mr., Mr Beebe's 's Restaurant is the one I'd like to try most. Just across the street from the central fountain, its address cannot be accurately displayed on the map of google, and there are no striking signs outside the restaurant. If you want to go, you should pay attention to it. The inconveniences of all this, however, are nothing to the delicacy of its food and drink.

So who is Mr. Bibby? In 1880 and 1910, Mr. Bibby was also known as the most handsome mayor in the history of Benedio.

Walking into the dining room, you'll see the Victorian architectural high ceiling, the beautiful hanging chandelier, the glazed colored glass facing the window that can see the grass across the street, and these elements alone want you to stay here all day long. The dishes are very stylish-potato skins are an interesting combination with tartar beef and truffle mayonnaise. They also offer a 15-yuan special lunch package, which is definitely the most cost-effective lunch I've ever had. Beef burgers and hand-cut grilled potatoes; slow stewed mutton, tomato and rosemary risotto; smoked pork, fried white boiled eggs, bean mayonnaise salad. There are too many delicious choices.

The most irresistible thing is his family's dessert, and be sure to keep an appetite for their three different flavors of chocolate desserts. I saw the old gentleman at the next table eating the three desserts in one breath.

After lunch, you can go to the gallery. Fourth stop-Bendigo Gallery (Bendigo Art Gallery), is one of Victoria's famous cultural treasures and one of Bendigo's iconic buildings. The gallery's permanent collection includes paintings, ceramics, sculpture, decorative art, photography, and occasional exhibitions. This is a beautiful space that can make our mood more historical and artistic. Classic works of history and trendy artistic ideas hit here. You can feel the luxury and vicissitudes of that century in 1800's oil paintings, or admire the great imagination of artists in modern art ideas.

After you go to the gallery, you can drive to Lake Weerona. One sunny afternoon, sitting on the calm Weerona lake, watching the sky glide past the waterbirds, feeding the ducks by the lake. It was a perfect end to the journey in a half-day state of mind. In the afterglow of the sunset, with a full of happiness, we left the beautiful and delicate Bendigo.
