Visa exemption for ordinary passport holders between China and Belarus will take effect

According to the China Consular Service Network, the Agreement between government of the people's Republic of China and government of the Republic of Belarus (Belarus) on Mutual exemption of visas for ordinary Passport holders will enter into force on August 10, 2018.

After the entry into force of the agreement, Chinese citizens can enter Belarus with a valid ordinary passport without a visa and remain in Belarus for no more than 30 days, but not more than 90 days a year.

Chinese citizens who intend to enter Belarus for residence, study, work, media coverage, etc., subject to prior approval by the competent authorities of the country, shall apply for a visa before entering the country.
