The Migration Board will exchange data with the Inland Revenue Service ATO in order to monitor whether the guarantee employer and the guarantee employee in the guarantee category 457 have fulfilled their obligations and conditions.

Immigration and IRS ATO exchanged data for the last three fiscal years, targeting 457 or 482 visa holders.

The Immigration Board will send the following information to the Inland Revenue Department for comparison:

  • surname and personal name
  • address
  • [法] date of birth
  • Details of the guarantee people.

The IRS ATO will return the income and employer information of the eligible applicants to the Immigration Service on the basis of the data.

This data is exchanged on a regular basis. It is estimated that the total number of recorded data is about 68 W, and there are about 28 W people.
