Oh, my God! There is a small town on the outskirts of Sydney with all kinds of Bra hanging in front of my house

Doreg (Dorrigo), is a small town on the north-central coast of New South Wales.

A large bright pink bra-shaped sign stands at the entrance, reminding every driver entering town of "Slow Down, Bra I Town". When you walk into town, you'll be surprised that all the trees in the town and all kinds of color bras are hanging in front of the shop. It's a "flag floating".

Porn Industrial Town? COSPLAY Park? Bra development base?

This is the original look of the town, isn't it simple and peaceful, dignified and elegant? So what made it that way?

The cause of all this is this woman below.

Lyn King

Boss Local Cafe, the founder of the Bra campaign, is determined to break the Guinness record and make Dorrigo one of the most popular places to hang Bra.

Why is she so obsessed with wearing a bra? The truth is here, actually, ha, it's not weird, it's not dog blood, it all started with the death of Lyn's best friend.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Lyn's best friend's death from breast cancer. Lyn has been raising money for small-scale breast cancer studies before, but this year she wants to do something special to commemorate her friend. Hanging pink ribbons is a tradition of promoting breast cancer. Instead, she uses a bra to remember those who have lost their fight against breast cancer and to support the patient's fight against the disease.

"I just wanted to hang a bra in front of my cafe and remember my friend in an interesting way, but I didn't expect it to be so big, and more people would take part in it, and it was like snowballing."

The bra-hanging campaign, launched by Lyn, culminated in an enormous amount of approval from every store in the town. They hung the bra on the storefront's flag cloth, decorated the trees with the bra, and local road signs were hung with bras of all colors and sizes. At noon, Lyn also visits the bras with residents to make sure they are not blown away by the wind.

This spectacular and interesting event has not only attracted the attention of the entire Australian people. Not only did Facebook's high-profile retweets, it also attracted television interviews. Many women from all over Australia want to join the Bra donation.

"We've got 400 500, we've got about 200 to hang up, we've got these bras from all over the world, Armidale, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, and so on."

Lyn believes the event will also make sense for the younger generation. When the children see the bra hanging in the town, they ask their parents why they want to wear the bra, understand the intention of the action through their parents' explanation and understand the knowledge of breast cancer.

After reading the story of Lyn, girls, are you feeling breast cancer from their own very far away.?

Here, look at this amazing number, even rising. Data from the World Health Organization Global Survey of Women's Breast Diseases:

  • Globally, 2 million women suffer from breast disease every year;
  • Globally, five hundred thousand women die of breast cancer every year;
  • Every 26 seconds, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer! Almost every minute a woman dies from breast cancer!

The vast majority of the male brethren, heck, hit the blackboard to draw the point?

Don't think it's none of your business. Male breast cancer disease is low but it does exist, and the incidence of breast cancer continues to rise. With the increase of age, decrease of androgen and increase of estrogen, men are prone to breast hyperplasia, and some of them will develop canceration and most of male breast cancer has been found to be advanced.

At a glance of Chinese and foreign stars, many people have died of breast cancer.

  • Yao Bena, who suffered from breast cancer in 2011, underwent breast resection and plastic reconstructive surgery. In January 2015, she died of a recurrence of breast cancer at the age of 33.
  • Asan, a famous healing singer who suffered from breast cancer in October 2008, died in April 2009 at the age of 34.
  • Lin Daiyu Chen Xiaoxu, Chen Xiaoxu died of breast cancer in May 2007, only 42 years old.
  • Audrey Hepburn died of breast cancer on January 20, 1993.
  • Cherry Prunus, author of Cherry Pill, died of breast cancer on Aug. 15 this year at the age of 53.

These key words about breast cancer also deserve attention: the female cancer incidence ranks first in the ranking, the incidence rate increases year by year, the "high incidence area" in China is younger.

Breast cancer is the highest incidence of malignant tumors in women, according to a report released by the National Cancer Center in 2017 on the status and Trends of Cancer in China. The incidence of breast cancer among Chinese women is on the rise, rising more than threefold from 17/100000 five years ago to 52/100000 last year. There are two major peaks in China: 35 to 40 years old, and some during menopause, about 45 to 50 years old.

So, how to prevent breast cancer?

Although breast cancer is partly influenced by family heredity, in fact, life style has greater discretion in the case of illness. You can avoid breast cancer as much as possible by paying a little more attention to your lifestyle.

A minute to help you popularize science to prevent little knowledge

Gene screening

5% / 10% of breast cancer patients have a family history, and their natural risk of disease is higher than that of the average person. If someone in the family has changed breast cancer, genetic screening is necessary and efficient, early detection and early treatment.

Like Angelina. Julie passed genetic tests early this morning to know that her mother had a high risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer, with 87% and 50% chance of developing breast and ovarian cancer, and volunteering for professional medical treatment to reduce the risk of breast cancer from 87% to 5%.

[医]periodic physical examination

Every year routine health check-up, B-ultrasound and palpation of breast, if suspicious, through mammography for further examination.

Healthy diet

So here's the question. What's the effect of eating? Generally speaking, it is low fat, low calorie, high dietary fiber. The following three foods are typical foods that can help keep breast cancer away:

green tea

The anticancer component of tea, mainly catechin. This ingredient, in green tea, contains about 15% and 20%. In addition, tea contains vitamin C and vitamin E, also has a certain anti-cancer effect.

[植] yangtao

The vitamin C content of kiwifruit was 4 ~ 12 times of orange, 3 times of apple and 60 times of grape. Studies have shown that the substances contained in the drug can block the formation of nitrosamine in human body, thus has a good anti-cancer effect, and is a good product for the prevention of breast cancer.

[植] soybean

Eating more leguminous foods, such as peas and soybeans, can prevent nitrosamine formation and help reduce breast cancer.
