Sydney's 96-year-old philanthropist Klein Lehler has been accused of molesting two full-time caregivers at his home in Wacruz (Vaucluse), a wealthy district, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. Tang Ning Central District Court (Downing Centre Local Court) held a hearing today, Klein Lehler was allowed not to appear in court for reasons.
Klein Lehler's lawyer said Klein Lehler would undergo a health check to assess whether he could attend a future hearing.
Between April and May last year, Klein Lehler improperly touched the chest, buttocks and genital organs of a 36-year-old woman on three separate occasions, according to court documents. In addition, on Christmas Day last year, Klein Lehler improperly kissed another 21-year-old woman at home.
Both women were employed as full-time paramedics in Klein Leller, police said.
