On Monday morning, a man in Adelaide was violently attacked! Broken arms and legs! In the pool of blood on the front porch!

And it all happened because he didn`t have a wallet!

At about 04:45, a 41-year-old man living in the Christie Downs district was asked by a strange man in a black hoodie, threat, to hand over his wallet. When the man told him he didn`t have a wallet, the man in black pulled things like an iron bar or a baseball bat and hit the victim in a row! Then he fled.

The victim stumbled home with multiple fractures and fell into a pool of blood on the front porch.

The victim was then taken to Flinders Medical Center for treatment. Worried neighbors say the incident is worrisome.

What worries them even more is that the community is full of drug and violence. "really, it`s a phenomenon that`s prevalent in the community right now."

"I saw someone on the street trying to trade food coupons for drug. They`d rather have drugs to death than eat."

Another neighbor said the front door of two other houses nearby had been kicked out.
