Put your hand up for a day on the farm
Rural Aid, an Australian charity based in Brisbane, provides comprehensive support to rural communities in need, especially as a result of disastrous weather conditions. We have carried out a number of activities, such as the "buy a Straw (Buy a Bale)" project has raised more than A $5 million in funding, and for the reconstruction of Australia's rural areas. In addition, we have developed programs such as "Farm Army (Farm Army)" and "Farm Rescue (Farm Rescue)" to help farmers across Australia who need the help of technicians and volunteers. These volunteers are keen on the cause of public welfare and hope to change the countryside.
We believe in the huge benefits of multicultural teamwork, which is why we started the Farm Day program. This is a one-day project that focuses on creating a multi-cultural volunteer team that can play its part and have a good day. This is a good opportunity for those who are looking for practical experience, building networks, meeting people from different backgrounds and hoping to improve their English skills.
Each event, we will organize round-trip transportation and catering, but also provide Blue cards and certificate. We will take good care of you from beginning to end, make sure that you will have a good day and leave a good memory.
The event will be held every Wednesday, beginning June 2018, with a date in the form. As part of the registration, you must attend the Information Gala before leaving.
