No one knew that the dead body had been parked in Sydney's house for a year, and the cleaner came to the door and found it.

It was not until a year later that a dead body of Chen Fang, a house in Sydney, was found by cleaners, the cause of which was suspected to have been murdered, and is currently unknown.

The Greendale St, owner in Greenwich, on Sydney's lower north coast, hired a janitor to clean the house on Tuesday, and the latter discovered the terrible fact.

A spokesman for the new state police said this afternoon that the cause of death was suspicious because "something was found on the body," but could not provide further details about the incident.

The sex and age of the deceased have not yet been determined, but an autopsy is under way.

According to media reports, the victim was not the owner of the family. Police say the tenant who lived inside died a year ago. The owner thought the house had been vacant since the tenant's death, until this week a janitor had been hired to clean it.

Police said in a statement that the body is believed to have been in the house for a long time and that an autopsy this afternoon will determine the cause of death and sex.

North Coast Regional Command police have established a crime scene, "the scene will continue to be examined by forensic medicine."

"We have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the death, and the local police have been assisted," the police said in a statement.

Police appeal to any insider who may know the identity of the deceased or may provide information on their assistance. Please contact them at the crime line of 1800 333,000.
