I've been a babysitter, a salesman for 18 years, and I'm 40 years old still challenging new fields! Every job is accumulated!

My name is Xiang Zhao, from Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, and I am a restless man. Not willing to teach in domestic colleges and universities to lead a life of the future, I choose to emigrate to Australia, "restless" I was refused to apply, emigrated and naturalized to Australia, start a new life.

In foreign countries, the choice of career to a certain extent depends on the chance, job-hopping, changing industries are very normal things.

In my 18 years in Australia, I have been engaged in many different professions.

When I just came out to study abroad, because my parents were working class at home, I paid my tuition fees with my savings for many years, and my living expenses had to be earned by myself.

When I first started looking for work in Australia, I worked as a babysitter to help my friends take their children in exchange for free accommodation. Later, I moved out to rent my own house. At first, I wanted to find the manual work of most people, such as restaurant workers, cleaners, and so on. However, I was not tall and long, and I was relatively thin. When I applied for physical work, I was often questioned by the boss whether I could do it or not. Many times have been refused.

One chance, read the community newspaper applied for a telemarketer's job, this job is based on sales commission, the entry conditions are relatively low. A friend I applied for flinched because there was no basic salary for the job, but I decided to do it.

I was glad I had made such a decision, and there was a saying that the job of a telemarketer was a great promotion to me. On the one hand, the improvement of English listening and speaking skills, on the other hand, improve their sales and communication skills.

Because at first I didn't understand the slang, indecent assault and rejection of the other party in English, I told myself the advantages of the product, my attitude was relatively firm and confident, my face was thick, and my mind was of excellent quality. But in a month to achieve the company's best sales, since then for my career unique path.

Looking for a job in Australia depends mainly on working experience, and a degree is not the most important.

With this experience as a telemarketer, I graduated from school and got into GE Money (Edison's world top 500 company: general Finance, first in Outreach Marketing, and then promoted to a loan risk assessor. I have been in this position for nearly ten years.

Large companies can give you high-quality workplace training and influence, so that you quickly understand the rules of the workplace, but big companies are also extremely competitive, compared with the local westerners, immigrant promotion opportunities are still very few. Although my performance has always been among the top, but the language and culture still have a relative disadvantage.

Slowly, I can basically close my eyes to the day's work zero error to finish, but a radish a pit, in the same enterprise in my growth opportunities are less and less, this job let me have a look at the head of the feeling.

Coincidentally, my brother met a lot of business people while studying in Melbourne, Australia.

In 1997, he returned to China to start a business under the promotion of Australian businessmen. They set up a Sino-Australian joint venture company, focusing mainly on the medical industry, and they matched the leading medical industries in Australia and China to build mutually beneficial cooperation. The 2006 Love growth Company they founded in China is on a good trend, an online company focused on the scientific upbringing and healthy growth of 0-to 6-year-olds, in December 2017. They also pushed Australia's Royal Baby Welfare Company, Trinity neighbor (Tresillian), into the Chinese market.

In early 2015, my brother and his business partners in Australia planned to invest in a radiology diagnostic imaging company in Sydney's inner west side (the clinic for CT, X-rays, ultrasound medical diagnostics). His business partner has run a medical imaging clinic in Sydney's Chinatown for more than a decade.

They took a fancy to my nearly 10 years of working experience at GE and sent me a job offer to join the video clinic for the position of manager.

Although it was a brand-new position and different industries, but I was looking at opportunities and challenges, and different experience, I accepted the offer, from the financial sector to the health industry, life from the age of 40 to start from scratch.

This is a very challenging job for me, especially in English, all of which is medical terminology. I also have to study management techniques, from management front desk staff, to professional radiologists and radiologists, to handle patient complaints. Placating patient mood, although busy and hard work, but the sense of accomplishment is also full of.

I love this state, feel that life has new opportunities and challenges, full of vitality.

Although a new industry, but I think the new job as long as the management work will be relatively simple, mainly from the macro direction.

It is very important to lead the team at the beginning. From the beginning of the interview, it is necessary to define the quality of the selected staff and design the interview questions according to the requirements. Step-by-step talent training is also needed to ensure that there is sufficient leadership in the company's positions, and that there is a plan to ensure that no one's departure will have a significant impact on the company. In this way, it is necessary to form a double relationship between cooperation and competition in the staff.

My day-to-day job is to gain insight into the staff's business skills, support and motivation, and the necessary continuing training. Coordinate the relationship between employees at all levels to create a unique cultural atmosphere in the company.

The second task is to coordinate with the market staff, liaise with other clinics and hospitals, arrange doctor meetings, coordinate the relationship between the company and other medical companies, promote our company and obtain patient recommendations from doctors at all levels.

The third job is financial management, from the company's fixed assets to current assets, accounting management and so on. Although our company is based in Sydney, Australia, Chinese patients account for a large proportion. I am also responsible for opening up the company's Chinese market, such as updating the company's official social app account, translating or writing some popular medical science articles, organizing public welfare activities among the Chinese community, and so on.

The content of the work is complicated, busy all day, also feel very substantial. Sometimes work and life overlap, but most of the time they can be distinguished.

Living abroad for a long time, I feel that my character will also become more free with fate, the position of the profession is not necessarily lifelong, mainly depends on their own interests and opportunities, which is a great contrast to serving in a unit in the domestic lifetime.

When I went abroad, I also had worries and fears about this aspect. I thought it would be very unstable, but when I got used to such changes, I felt that only in this way could I make my life more colorful and experience more different things.

In society, everyone's identity is multiple. May be a clerk or leader in the company, a wife, husband or child at home, a friend outside.

I don't take leadership to my friends in different situations. Together with friends is to enjoy a good friendship, we eat, drink and play together, talk about the earth.

After work, I like to do good food, love to play, love to write small articles, write poems, and so on. The rich life has greatly improved my happiness in Australia.

Whether in Australia or domestic, everyone's life and work are full of art everywhere, no matter how busy I am, I will make life a little more emotional, so that life is busy, so that there will not be the legend of "Australia good mountains, good water and lonely".
