Miserable Sydney night life, laughing and fined $550?

Mockery poster (Australian News Photo)

A parody bar poster circulated online accurately describes Sydney residents' miserable nightlife today.

According to the Australian News website, a poster of the (NSW Department of Industry) of the New State Industry Department appeared in the popular forum Reddit, reminding bar customers not to "laugh loudly", "dance for a long time," and "flirt with other customers." "enjoy it" or "use the long, confused words of security personnel" or get kicked out of the bar. The upper-left corner of the poster retained the original slogan, "on-the-spot fine of $550."

The mockery posters describe the typical pattern of an empty Sydney nightclub: tough rules, aggressive bodyguards, and dispelling the fun of relaxation for all.

The poster was based on a regular poster posted on Oxford Street (Oxford Street) in Sydney, the publisher said. Oxford Street is famous for gathering restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Parody posters resonated with many netizens, calling Sydney "the most boring place in the world."

The contents of the original regular poster are actually not good enough to go there, stating that anyone who has been denied access or has been asked to leave the site must remain at least 50 metres away from the site and shall not enter the area for at least six hours. Otherwise, a $550 fine will be imposed on the spot by the police.

Sydney's nightlife-related issues have been reignited by an empty photo of Sydney's roundabout pier, (Circular Quay), in recent days. A New State Congress survey of the music and art economy launched in November last year received nearly 400 written comments reflecting the absurdity of Sydney's nightlife regulations. Sydney is littered with puzzling rules, including "no dancing", "no playing Ukrainian" and "no installing spherical mirrors" and so on.
