New state government is a fool? Reduction in public service payments of $1.4 billion to private consultants

It follows reports that the new state's government has spent more than 1.4 billion yuan on private consultants since 2011. The Public Service Association criticised the new state, government, as a "fool".

"the Liberal Party has turned the new state into Australia's biggest fool," Stewart Little, the secretary-general of the Public Service Association, said on Wednesday.

He accused new state governor Gladys Berejiklian of spending so much money on private advisers while "cutting the public-sector workforce" was clearly deceived.

Stewart Little said the spending on private consultants was in sharp contrast to the decision of the new state treasurer to increase the "efficiency dividend" of civil servants in last week's state budget.
