Start family and friends to grab a visa at the same time, Wuhan boy is traveling while working in Australia.

Work and travel are hard for many people, but the 23-year-old Miao Navy did. He recently submitted to the Yangtze River Daily mailbox, participated in the Yangtze River Daily official WeChat "good Morning Wuhan" cover selection, defined himself as a traveler. A year after graduating from Wuhan Institute of Bioengineering, he was lucky to "grab" a travel visa to work in Australia, saving up to 20,000 yuan in the first month of his job, and then completing a self-driving trip around Australia's east coast in another month. Recently, the Yangtze River Daily reporter contacted him to listen to him tell him what kind of experience it is to travel part-time.

Miao Navy enjoys the pleasure of working in Australia.

Foreign uncle e-mail made him decide to travel part-time

Miao Navy was an English anchorman at the school radio station when he was a college student, with a gentle voice. He was particularly fond of dealing with people, applied to Haus International Hostel after graduation, only a year, from the front desk to achieve the head of the store.

He often guides foreigners who come here for free and meets a 40-50-year-old Australian uncle. Uncle said to the Miao Navy when he left, I love your smile, I have never had such a good travel memory. After returning home, uncle sent a mail to Miao Navy: I have prepared tickets for you for the Australian Open, when will you come?

With a desire to see an Australian Open, the Miao Navy decided to travel to Australia for work.

Australia's goverment has opened working travel visas to mainland China since 2015, with 5000 places a year issued in three batches. This type of visa is very popular, and the ratio of obtaining visa quota is about 100 1. In order to seize the opportunity, Miao Navy launched more than a dozen family and friends at the same time on the day of the signing. When he got a travel visa to Australia in March, he couldn't believe his luck.

Miao's first job, introduced by a Chinese friend, was packed in a health care factory in Sydney, where he worked 7.5 hours a day, night shift, and 1000 yuan a day, three times the salary if he worked on weekends or holidays. At the end of a month, with the exception of accommodation and board, the Miao Navy earned 20, 000 yuan, a self-driving trip around Australia's east coast.

Singing Chinese Folk songs makes foreigners cry

In early June, the Miao Navy and two other partners began driving around Australia's east coast. From Melbourne, pass Canberra, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane, continue north to Ma Kai, Keynes, follow Australia's first Highway straight ahead.

It rained on the first day of departure and the three decided to camp in a small town. The town looked like an outsider, and the trio went to the town's restaurant for dinner and, as soon as they entered the door, everyone looked at them in amazement.

There is a stage in the middle of the restaurant, with guitars and drums on the stage. The Miao Navy had never done a public performance before, but for some reason, he wanted to play the guitar. He sang two songs with a guitar. One was if I was old, and the other was tick.

The only time to sing in public is in a foreign country. At the end of the performance, the Miao Navy saw a white woman weeping under the stage.

Experience skydiving, surfing, diving without falling

When he came to Australia, the Miao Navy made a list of themselves: skydiving, surfing, diving, and watching an Australian Open.

On June 25, he wrote in his WeChat circle: "skydiving, this extreme sport, is one thing that never dared to think about before." I am a very afraid of height, even in the cable car, but also closely against others. A height of 14,000 feet, higher than thought. The coach said it would be nice to write the names of loved ones on their hands and jump from more than 10,000 feet. So I wrote what I wanted to say. So, I did it. " Navy Miao says it takes a brave jump to see the stunning Elley Beach from the air.

After a month of self-driving on the East Coast, the Miao Navy began a second job running swimming pools and tennis courts at a hotel. He worked three hours a day, leaving him plenty of time to learn how to surf. He said to ride the surfboard and stand up against the waves for a few seconds.

Now, the first three of his wishes have been completed, only in January next year when the Australian Open begins.

The Miao Navy joked that he had spent the year in the Northern Hemisphere and in the Southern Hemisphere in the coming winter.

When Miao's visa expires in March, he will return home to open a youth hostel.
