An inventory of Australia's online celebrity tourist attractions, the pink lake on South Australia's El Peninsula is the hottest.


Such an enchanting natural delimitation seems to have come from other planets explored by NASA, but it is actually located in South Australia.

Bounded by a straight road, the lake is pink on one side and dark green on the other, a fantastic view of Lake McDonnell in (Lake MacDonnell)., near (Nullarbor Plain), on the plains of Nalabel, South Australia. Here, is Australia's most popular tourist attraction.

Tourism Australia's (Tourism Australia) social media team is taking stock of the most popular photo released on the Instagrams platform this year, the Australian News Network reported.

From the 18th until New year's Eve, the Australian Tourism Board will launch a "12 Days of Christmas) countdown," sharing three of the top 30 most popular photo of the year every day.

South Australia has three photo entries, all filmed on Lake McDonnell.

Lake McDonnell is a salt lake located west of (Eyre Peninsula) on the El Peninsula, 860 kilometers from Adelaide. Once a salt mine, it is now one of the largest gypsum mines in the world.

Changes in salinity and algae in the lake make it startling pink, and the road that separates the lake is also named "Watermelon Avenue (Watermelon Avenue)."

The three photo likes totaled more than 400,000.

Nolenga Port (Port Noarlunga) 's South Beach (Southport Beach) and Al Peninsula's Covent Bay (Coffin Bay) have also won the likes of Instagrams users.

Henderson (Nick Henderson), Global Manager of Social Media at the Australian Tourism Office, said: "this year, the amazing beauty of Lake Mcdonnell has attracted the attention of many fans of social networking sites, and it is not difficult to see why. We hope to attract more people to South Australia for holidays by sharing these photos with the world. "
