The Chinese male was refused an immigration visa only because his historical entry and exit records were incorrect; with reference to his own entry and exit records

It is said that emigration depends on effort for seven points and luck for the other three points, but sometimes it is the word "luck" that can make you fall short of success.

However, Mr. Wang, a Chinese man, did not expect that his negligence had directly led to his refusal to apply for immigration, and he had been sentenced to five years' imprisonment for not entering the country!

1. As a result of this mistake, many years of immigration efforts were buried.

The story has to be told from the beginning.

In 2015, Mr. Wang applied in Canada for a nomination from Prince Edward Island to emigrate to Canada in this way.

At the time of the application, Mr. Wang was informed of the need to fill in the 5562 form of the entry and exit and travel experiences of his own during the past 10 years, in particular the travel of all from the place of origin or place of residence to other regions or countries over the last 10 years.

Mr. Wang didn't think much about it, so he filled out four of his travel experiences, including one trip to Singapore, one trip to Tokyo, Japan, and two trips to Canada. At the same time, he wrote about his past temporary residence in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arab and the UK for work reasons.

Mr. Wang thought it would be safe, but in July 2016, the Canadian consulate in Hong Kong sent a letter to Mr. Wang asking Mr. Wang to provide him with no criminal record in the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Wang replied that he had not lived in the United Arab Emirates for six months, and the official then asked Mr. Wang to provide evidence: a photocopy of Mr. Wang's passport.

In spite of the unexpected trouble, Mr. Wang thought it was worth the trouble to emigrate, so he sent a copy of his passport with the relevant supporting materials.

What Mr. Wang did not expect, however, was that after investigation, immigration officials found that Mr. Wang had travelled and worked not only in several of the countries mentioned above, but also in France, Chad, Cameroon and other countries. So for Mr. Wang's immigrants turned on the "red light"!

2. The judicial appeal was rejected, and only had to return to the country.

Wang himself also did not think, I thought that form 5562 only need to provide their own personal entry and exit experience, but not with the business expats, but do not want to "fall" here!

Despite Mr Wang's earnest letter that he misunderstood what was needed in form 5562, immigration officials insisted that Mr Wang had concealed his visa information, rejected his immigration application and asked him to leave the country immediately. No return to Canada for five years!

However, Mr. Wang had to resort to judicial means to appeal.

March 26 this year, judicial review finally formal hearing. To Mr Wang's dismay, however, Judge Cesily Y. Strickland finally ruled that the Migration Board had dismissed the applicant's application for judicial review on reasonable grounds in rejecting the applicant's appeal.

Helpless, Mr. Wang had to return to China with his unfinished dream and regret of immigration.

From Mr. Wang's experience, we can see that in recent years there has been a trend of gradual tightening of immigration censorship in various countries, and even a little inadvertent mistake will be treated seriously as a serious act of concealment.

3. Avoid Mr. Wang's mistake. All you have to do is do it.

We all know that in Australia, applications for various types of visas often require no criminal record and exit records from countries in and out of the country over the past decade, but now Australia has already achieved an e-visa and generally does not leave a "stamp" on its passport. So how are we supposed to know our immigration records and avoid being as sorry as Mr. Wang for life?

In fact, the method is very simple!

If you are a Chinese citizen who still holds a Chinese passport, if you want to know your entry and exit records over the past 10 years, just ask the Immigration Administration!

According to the regulations, Chinese citizens may apply in writing to the immigration administration department of the public security organ at or above the district (city) level on either side with their valid exit and entry documents to inquire about their entry and exit records since 2007.

In order to protect the information security of citizens, if they apply for personal entry and exit records, they shall submit the Application form for Enquiry entry and exit Records to the inquiring units, and submit their original entry and exit documents or identity cards for inspection.

If the applicant is under 16 years of age, the guardian shall accompany the application and submit the applicant's entry and exit certificate or the original copy of the resident identity card or household register, as well as the guardian's identity document and the materials which can prove the guardianship.

The most important entry-exit record application form can be found directly on the website government version. Applicants can go to http://www.bjgaj.gov.cn/web/bgxzfile/2012-01-21_11-30-20.doc to download, fill in and print, I personally go to the local authorities to handle.

After you have submitted the form, you will get a copy of the query results, detailed enough to see which flight you take.

The most important thing is that Chinese citizens inquire about their immigration records, not only without making an online appointment, but also with no need to spend a dime, directly "follow-up check"!

If you are not in the country or are not convenient to go, it does not matter. You can fill out the application form yourself and hand over the passport, ID card and the power of attorney written by the agent to the agent. The agent can help with the ID card and the above certificate. Handle.

How, isn't it more convenient than I thought it would be?

Finally, the editor hopes that this strategy will help all of you who need to provide proof materials when you emigrate. At the same time, I would like to remind you that the road to immigration is fraught with difficulties, and in addition to the need for perseverance, you also need to be cautious and cautious!

Don't be like Mr. Wang, because of his own mistakes, and their dreams lost ah!
