This morning, the Australian Tourism Board sent an open letter to all cooperative travel agencies in China!
The letter states that there has been a significant improvement in the application time for visas to Australia:
- 90 per cent of online travel visa applications are processed in seven natural days;
- 91% of online business visa applications are processed in 7 natural days
Tourism Australia also cautions that approaching Christmas and Spring Festival travel peaks, and in order to create unnecessary delays, online visa applicants are advised to submit visa applications six to eight weeks before their arrival in Australia.
