South Australia's backward education level and Internet speed can not be separated from the relationship! It took students 15 minutes to log on to the school page!

The problem of Internet speed is seriously affecting education in South Australia.

Only 1/5 of South Australian schools are reported to have fiber-optic networks, while almost every other state has a high-speed campus network for students.

According to an internal podcast from the South Australian Education Bureau, it takes 15 minutes for students to log on to the school page.

In an April 5 campus podcast, Scott Bayliss, the new chief information officer, said 99% of New and Victoria schools and 95% of schools in Kunzhou and Western Australia provide fiber-optic networks for students.

Only 20% of South Australia's schools have fiber-optic networks, which is far from enough. We will focus on improving the situation.

"our goal is to enable students and teachers to connect to high-speed networks whenever and wherever they need it." His team will help students improve the network and solve the problem completely. "We found that it took nearly 16 minutes for students in some schools to access the school web site."

According to Mr. Bayliss, 121 schools and kindergartens have upgraded their campus networks, up 100 times faster than before, but some schools are still slow, and we will solve this problem.

Mr Bayliss said their solution would be to provide "fast, reliable and cost-effective high-speed campus networks for South Australian schools in 2018."

In a statement, Mr Bayliss revealed that the government had made great efforts in recent months.

"We are very confident that schools can install high-speed networks at a cost-effective price. Our goal is to provide high-quality network services for all schools. "in most cases, fiber optic networks are the best choice, and we will adopt different networks for individual regions."

The former Labour government has proposed a nine-fold increase in the network speed of schools (from 11 76Mbs) and even a 100-fold increase in the speed of some schools. However, the proposal will cost tens of millions of Australian dollars.

John Gardner, the education minister, said the Marshall government would provide a high-speed and economic online package for all schools, something the former government had not been able to do.
