Professional data: review of New car sales ranking in July

The sharp decline of 7.8 percent that month sent cumulative annual sales of 2018 lower for the first time than last year (- 0.2 percent), but from a macro perspective, the total of 691073 by the end of July was already a very impressive performance. But it is hard to predict whether July will be the turning point of the car market this year. At a time when the economy and interest rate policy have not changed significantly, the car market does not appear to have any negative push for a significant decline.

Compared with the same period last year, there are only four categories of growth this month: mini-cars (31.8 percent), small SUV (3.4 percent), large SUV (4.1 percent) and four-wheel-drive pickup trucks (6.4 percent). Home cars are still the highest-selling category in the local market, at 18.1 percent, according to the car category. This was followed by an intermediate SUV, of 17.6%. This was followed by a four-wheel drive pickup truck (14.2%), a large SUV (12.1%) and a small SUV (11.6%). The main sources of the Australian car market are Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Germany and the United States. Of the 85551 new cars sold this month, 27370 were made in Japan, or 32 percent. Here are the top 10 brands and top 10 models for new car sales in July.

The TOYOTA led the race without suspense, but it fell 5.7%, a bit startling. Corolla fell sharply on 19.4%.RAV 4, YARIS, 86, despite its position at the top of the car category. FORTUNER and others are weak. Half of Camry's sales obviously have a big impact on the brand's trend, but it also seems inevitable-the new model, apart from its name, has a strong impact on the brand's performance. Every aspect can be compared with any previous generation of CAMRY can be said to be no related to a new product, the performance of especially technology can be said to be different, so the positioning and price of the CAMRY has changed in essence. Monthly sales of easily 32, 000 no longer exist. At the same time, as the new model all originated in Japan, it is still in a situation of extreme shortage of goods. The especially mixed-motion car model has been waiting for several months, so the sales volume has dropped sharply compared with the past, that is, it is reasonable that there will be a sharp decline in sales compared to the past. And it is expected that the situation will continue for a considerable period of time.

A new generation of COROLLA, which will soon be available soon, and a new RAV 4, early next year, are likely to be similar. So when all three of the TOYOTA's main models are replaced, the overall size of the TOYOTA in the local market may be significantly affected. The product is better and more precise, the positioning is higher, the price rises, is bound to affect the total amount, this will be a new problem that Australia TOYOTA needs to face and weigh in the near future. However, from my personal point of view, I think that the platform adopted by TOYOTA and its off-line products are definitely a generation of fine goods with extremely high gold content. Even if the price rises, it is still a good thing for consumers to have no advantages or disadvantages.

The MAZDA also fell 6.4 percent, with all but the horse six showing varying degrees of decline, with the CX-3 falling sharply, with 13.2%.MAZDA just announcing an upgrade from the previous three years to five years from the previous three years, starting in August. Note that this is not a promotion, but a long-term behavior that is believed to have a very positive and far-reaching impact on MAZDA's long-term performance. In addition, this year's MAZDA M DAY will be advanced to August 11, based on past experience, this month's results will have a blowout-like growth.

The HYUNDAI was similar, with most models falling sharply, with the ACCENT down 31.7 percent, the ELANTRA down 19.9 percent, the ILOAD down 28.9 percent, the Velster down 50.3 percent and the Thomson down 13.3 percent, but the main commodity I30 was up 2.6 percent.

Brother FORD and HOLDEN are still missing, and HOLDEN is on the brink of the top 10 after falling nearly 40%. KIA is the pioneer of the local market for the past two years, even in the overall lower market environment such as July, it can go against the trend alone. At the same time, VW and NISSAN also showed positive results this month. SUBARU's decline was significant, but thanks to the same sharp drop in HONDA, it could still hold on to the top 10 positions.

The second and third-tier brands that performed well this month included SKODA (18.3%), VOLVO (34.7%), LDV (146.9%), JEEP (11%), MG (538.6%), PEUGEOT (140%), CITROEN (117.4%), INFINITI (19.6%).

Bleak brands include JAGUAR (- 17.6%), LAND ROVER (- 36.8%), SUZUKI (- 14.6%), RENAULT (- 9.4%), LEXUS (- 4.2%), BMW (- 21.8%), AUDI (- 36%). MB (- 13.4%), PORSCHE (- 32.2%).

Finally, as usual for you to present this month's main vehicle categories up and down trend.
