Sydney man drives a stolen car into a mansion (Sydney Morning Herald)

A 21-year-old man in Sydney rushed into a southwestern home in a stolen car early Monday morning. The car then caught fire and ignited the building. Fortunately, the occupants of the house were not injured in the accident.

A 21-year-old man drove a stolen car into the garage of a two-story house in (Georges Hall), George Hall, around 00:30 on Monday, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. The car then caught fire, swallowed up the garage and spread to other parts of the building. Firefighters were forced to break into the door with a chainsaw and finally contain the fire.

Police revealed that homes and cars have been damaged to a great extent. Fortunately, three residents, a couple in their 60s and their son, were not injured in the accident.

The victim's son allegedly pulled the driver out of the car before the fire and then returned home to rescue his parents.

Chris (Chris), the victim, was wearing a robe when interviewed by the media. "We were sleeping and we heard a loud noise," he said. My first reaction was someone heading towards the house shoot, the second reaction was the short circuit of the wire. The man involved tried to escape and was controlled by neighbors until the police arrived at the scene. (Bankstown) police then arrested the man and took him to (Bankstown Hospital), a Pennsylvania hospital, for mandatory inspection.

The man involved was charged with negligent driving, dangerous driving, obtaining and driving transport without the consent of all persons. The man has been released on bail and will appear in (Bankstown Local Court), Pennsylvania District Court on July 4.
