A little girl in Bendigo (Bendigo), an inland town in Victoria, stumbled upon a piece of dog gold worth more than A $37000.
On May 12, a little girl walked with her father, sister and pet dog on the outskirts of Bendigo, Victoria, making a startling discovery, Radio 7 reported.
The father told the media: "I actually walked straight past the dog`s head gold, but my daughter kicked it when she left." She went on to ask, `Dad, is this gold? I went back, and I thought it might be. "
The family weighed the dog`s head gold to a nearby supermarket, weighing 624 grams or about 20 ounces.
The expert has made the appraisal, confirmed that it is indeed the dog head gold.
Spot gold was priced at about $1299 an ounce, or 1865 Australian dollars an ounce, on the 14th, meaning the dog`s head gold was worth A $37300 in nominal terms.
"We`ve been through some difficult times, so it`s really great, because we`ve been struggling on economic," the father said. "it`s a great time," the father said.
