Westley (Jay Weatherill) government is considering introducing babysitters from abroad to provide them with permanent residency, while attracting self-supporting pensioners, wealthy retirees (Self-funded retirees), to South Australia.

This is part of a plan to increase the state's population, according to the Advertising newspaper. The government, a former labour party in South Australia, considered the plan as it neared maturity.

The 10-year Immigration Action Plan (Immigration Action Plan) also includes-urging the federal government to introduce flexible new visas so that businesses can bring in immigrants to fill jobs that Australians are less willing to take up. It is reported that the plan includes a total of 6 most.

The draft plan, prepared by Martin Hamilton-Smith, the former head of investment and trade, was submitted to the cabinet at the end of 2017, but the outcome of the review was not known as Labour's subsequent defeat in South Australia.

Lobbyists argue that by creating a new visa for permanent immigrants who work from home and introducing babysitters, Australian families will save on family and child care costs.

A properly regulated category of employment is common abroad, as mentioned in the Immigration Action Plan, which will bring a sizeable number of immigrants to Australia. This will be one of the measures to attract young, semi-skilled migrant workers to fill the workforce gap.

The plan also recommends attracting wealthy pensioners, especially parents of foreign students, by introducing a flexible visa that gives immigrants the right to settle in smaller states.
