Attention, Chinese! The Sydney trains will be closed for seven months and will be replaced by buses

Attention Chinese! starting September 30, the Epping-Chatswood train will be out of service for 7 months!

According to reports, Sydney subway northwest line is in the final phase of construction, so during the train shutdown, there will be 110 buses per hour to replace the train, covering seven routes! It is reported that commuter travel time will be increased by at least 10 minutes.

Andrew Constance, the director of transport and infrastructure, said the new subway would provide nearly four times as much service as the current peak. In addition, the line from Rouse Hill to Chatswood in the northwest will be upgraded, including the construction of glass screens and electrical equipment on the platform, which is expected to be completed by mid-2019.

The existing 13-kilometer heavy rail line will also be rebuilt to allow single-story subway operation.

Ryde District Councillor Victor Dominello said, Macquarie University students and faculty members will have access to a dedicated "platform chain service," (Station Link service), from the Epping station to their universities.

At present, major stations such as Macquarie Park,Macquarie University and North Ryde will be affected by railway outages.

In addition, large companies in northern Sydney had previously expressed concern that the train would stop. But optus, one of macquarie park's biggest companies, was named as the preferred parking date for parking at the end of November 2018, when traffic to and from Macquarie University fell.
