South Australia Expressway frequent stone-throwing incidents! Watch out for the rocks falling from the sky to hit your car!

Recently, Southern Expressway's buddies have to be careful!

Because you may be hit by a stone falling from the sky, or cause an accident.

At around 03:20 on Tuesday (May 29), another owner was stoned in SouthernExpressway.

The vehicle was heading south from O'HalloranHill, about 100 meters in front of the Majors Rd flyover, when a stone flew to the window in the back seat of the car.

Fortunately, there were no accidents and no casualties.

In the near future, this kind of incident occurs frequently!

Two months ago, in March, three teenagers were arrested for throwing stones and bottles at a moving car on the HackhamWest flyover.

Police say they will censor surveillance footage to curb this very dangerous behavior.

On Sunday, a Labor Party transportation spokesman called on the Liberal Party, the government, to report incentives to crack down on such behaviour.

But South Australia's governor, Steven Marshall, disagreed with the measure, saying on Wednesday morning that government would work on a more practical and effective way to make it difficult to throw stones off the flyover.

"We have covered the easiest-to-get stone near SouthernExpressway with wire. Also, we are installing as soon as possible.

Hope this method can effectively contain this kind of bad situation.

Some ignorant teenagers may think this is a fun thing, but do not know how big the impact on driving vehicles!

It's better to run less of this highway these days.
