The men are messing with Melbourne Airport! Rush to the tarmac and open the plane hatch.

A breathtaking moment took place at Melbourne's airport when a passenger ran angrily to the tarmac as he arrived late, desperately trying to open the door of a Jetstar (Jetstar).

Today, as the man missed his flight, he tried to rush onto a plane waiting to take off.

He rushed up the plane's gangway and tried to pull the hatch open, a serious violation of safety regulations.

It is understood that after Jetstar staff told him he was several hours late, the man began to become aggressive and physically rough.

The man then began smoking in the airport terminal. At about 09:30, he rushed to the nearest gate, pushed his staff away and ran onto the tarmac without authorization.

Disturbing video footage shows the man trying to force the hatch open and then kick it with his feet.

Meanwhile, airline workers in reflective jackets witnessed the scene in horror. Witness Susanna. Lee. Murray told 9News she was waiting to board and noticed the man on the tarmac.

She said the man tried to climb the stairs and had physical clashes with staff, beating and scratching them.

The man was stopped halfway up the boarding staircase, but then broke free, arrived at the cabin door, and was stopped again by baggage unloaders.

Officers from the Australian Federal Police then arrived and took the man off the gantry.

The tattooed man, with a beard and white hair, was taken back to the airport in a black sweater.

The plane did not fly to the man's original destination.

The attack injured two Jetstar employees.

After engineers checked the plane and made sure it was safe, the passengers finally boarded the plane and left later.

"We highly applaud the fact that our crew handled the incident safely and took control of the passenger before the police arrived," Jetstar said in a statement.

'it 's unacceptable,'he said, and we immediately banned the passenger from flying on all Jetstar and Qantas (Qantas) flights.
