One of Australia's most popular tourist resorts is considering measures to limit the number of tourists, the Daily Mail reported.

It is reported that a sustainable tourism reference group has been set up in the Nusa (Noosa) area of (Sunshine Coast), Sunshine Coast, Kunzhou, to assess the impact of tourism on the local environment.

Nusa Mayor Wellington (Tony Wellington) said the popular resort is on the verge of "overtraveling" and many locals are starting the boycott industry.

It is reported that in 2016, the population of Nusa area is only 52000, but the number of tourists here is close to 2.36 million.

With the growing population of southeastern Kunzhou and the gradual development of cities such as Brisbane into commercial centers, Kunzhou residents are turning their attention to the north, and the Sunshine Coast will soon easily become a holiday choice for residents. But when everyone flocked to Nusa's beaches and resorts, as well as tourists from other states and internationally, local residents worried that the environment would be damaged.

Wellington is reported to be taking action to conduct a university study to assess the possibility of restricting public space in Nusa. Places that limit the number of visitors may be popular, such as (Hastings Street) Hastings Street, near (Main Beach), National Park, the main beach.

Although fed up with overcrowded local residents on the beach to support the decision, small business owners who rely on tourism for income are less enthusiastic.

The challenge for Wellington and the Sustainable Tourism reference Group is to ensure that local companies are satisfied with measures to limit the number of tourists, while protecting the local environment and maintaining the attractiveness of Nusa.
