Gasoline prices in Australia will rise, experts call on the public to hurry up refueling

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting countries (OPEC) agreement came into effect last month and decided to cut oil production from January 2017 and cut oil supplies for eight years, the Australian website reported. (ACCC), Australia's competition and consumption commission, said in recent days that gasoline prices would rise and advised consumers to hurry up as a result of the Australian dollar's downward trend against the dollar.

According to reports, ACCC president Sims (Rod Sims) said Australian car drivers should consider buying gasoline immediately before it reaches a peak, rather than waiting until it is needed. The best time to buy gasoline in Melbourne is Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Meanwhile, unleaded gasoline was the lowest on Thursday at the National Lube gas station in Melbourne's Carlton district and at the 7 / 11 convenience store in Bucksmash, at about 118.57 cents a litre.

In addition, prices at the BP gas station in East Malvern in southeastern Melbourne and in Heatherhill in the north-east are relatively low, at about 128.98 cents per litre. However, the price of high-quality unleaded gasoline in New South Wales has reached 144.7 cents per litre, compared with Melbourne's lower price, averaging about 134.3 to 140.2 cents per litre.

Sims reminded people that all major Australian cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, will see gasoline prices rise in the next few days, so drivers should refuel as early as possible before the price increases.
