Fortune Road was blocked, Australian Crown casino sued the new state of government!

Casino tycoon James Pike (James Packer) and his crown group (Crown Resorts) have filed a lawsuit against the new state of government to prevent their development of the new casino hotel landscape from being obscured.

The $2 billion hotel and casino project in Sydney's inner city of Barangaroo, is in full swing as part of the harbour's front beach rehabilitation plan.

According to the plan, Royal Crown Hotel room price is 800 yuan per night, can enjoy Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House scenery.

But Mr Pike filed a lawsuit Thursday morning angrily after the state government's expansion plan would block the view of the guest room and probably run away from tenants.

The lawsuit threatens to delay the Barangaroo&Metro Line project, which was scheduled to be completed in 2024.

Sydney Resort will be Australia's third complex operated by Crown after Perth and Melbourne casino opened in 1985 and 1994, respectively.

However, Pike's international investments did not perform well, causing profits to shrink 70 percent in 2017-18.

The crown's sale of Macau's casino, combined with a fine of three hundred thousand yuan for alleged manipulation of slot machine, and the forced rescue of 19 employees detained in China on gambling charges have pushed profits down to 558.9 million yuan.

The company expects the Sydney project to help normalize their profits, and casino is scheduled to be completed within the next three years.

But the project could be delayed because Crown sued Barangaroo in the Supreme Court against (Barangaroo Delivery Authority,BDA, the Daily Telegraph reported.

A spokesman for (Alliance for Gambling Reform), the gambling game change coalition, told the Australian Daily Mail that the lawsuit was not surprising.

Sydney is already the world's gambling game capital, and the industry has long exerted influence on politicians, so it's not surprising that the crown sued Barangaroo authorities, he said.

The crown announced the decision to the Australian Stock Exchange on Thursday morning.
