How much does it cost to raise children in Australia? in July, we implemented the latest subsidy for raising children by up to 85%!

Many Chinese friends emigrated to Australia because of Australia's high welfare.

Just recently, Australia has introduced a child grant policy, the extent of the subsidy is unprecedented! You can still enjoy the policy even if the PR, does not meet the appropriate conditions!

Before the reform, each household received a flat subsidy of 50%, with a maximum subsidy of only $7,500! After the reform, will be based on the specific income of the family will be subsidized, the maximum subsidy range of 85%!

In Australia, raising children is really expensive!

First of all, the implementation of the welfare system cannot be separated from an objective fact: the costs of raising children in Australia are too high!

What is the cost of raising a child in Australia? It has long been circulating that raising children in Australia costs seven times as much as in China, but statistics have found that raising children in Australia is the easiest. How much does it cost to raise a child in Australia?

A model released last year by AMP and the University of Canberra showed that Australian middle-income families cost A $ eight hundred and twelve thousand to raise two children. For higher-income families, the cost of independence from the birth of a child to their home will rise to A $1.09 million, while lower-income families will also spend A $ four hundred and seventy three thousand nine hundred and ninety nine.

In the United States, it takes A $ two hundred and sixty three thousand to develop a child, which means that it is more expensive to raise a child in Australia than in the United States!

However, research shows that the current cost of raising two children is 50 percent higher than in 2007, compared with a 25 percent increase in household income over the same period. That is to say, our wage growth rate is far less than the cost of raising a child!

In Australia, however, none of this spending is a problem. Because the government subsidies are so awesome! If this is taken into account and savings are consciously made, the cost of raising a child can be kept within the reach of the family.

So the child-rearing policy has always been the focus of Mother Marlene's attention. Next, let's see what is different about this reform.

2. Analysis of the concrete contents of the reform

However, with the implementation of the new reform, the difficult problem of raising children in Australia is likely to become history!

Before the reform, each household subsidised 50%, with a maximum of $7, 500.

After the reform, the government assesses and calculates the total income of each child-raising household, offering different percentage subsidies for different income ranges. Low-income households are the big winners of the reform, with up to 85% of the subsidy!

Annual family income:

If the annual income is less than $66958, the subsidy shall be 85%;

With annual income of $66598 to $171958, the subsidy is gradually reduced to 50%;

50% of the annual income of $171958 to $251458;

With annual income of $251458 to $341248, the subsidy is gradually reduced to 20%;

For annual income of $341248 to $351248, the subsidy is 20%;

If the annual income exceeds $351248, there shall be no allowance.

Starting July 2, 2018, when the annual family income is less than $186958, there will be no upper limit on the amount of child support benefit available! For households earning more than $186958 a year and less than $351248, the maximum amount of subsidy will rise from $7500 to $10190!

Not only that, if the parents who apply for the grant meet the following requirements, they can also get an hourly salary subsidy!

If parents take care of their children for 8 to 16 hours every 14 days, they are entitled to an hourly salary allowance of 36 hours;

If parents take care of their children for 16 to 48 hours every 14 days, they are entitled to an hourly salary allowance of 72 hours;

If parents take care of their children for more than 48 hours every 14 days, they are entitled to an hourly salary allowance of 100 hours;

If the family's annual income is less than $66,958, you can even waive the requirements in the form and receive an hourly salary allowance of up to 24 hours per fortnight!

It is reported that the policy will benefit 12800 families, especially low-and middle-income families, greatly reduced their burden. In addition, the grants will be paid directly to the account of the childcare institution, and parents will be able to benefit from caring child-care assistance without having to pay a high fee in advance.

Government said the policy not only reduces the cost of raising children for parents in Australia and gives all children equal access to education, but will also significantly stimulate employment, experts say, adding that the policy is beneficial to the country and the people, as well as reducing the cost of raising children in Australia and giving all children equal access to education. This initiative can promote up to 3.1 billion of economic development!

Now, the latest child support subsidy policy gives Australian parents great confidence that they have the ability to provide more protection for their children's lives and education, especially for Chinese immigrant families!

Because Chinese families attach great importance to the next generation of education, such a policy is very encouraging! More Chinese children can spend less money to enjoy world-class early childhood education!

Besides this, Australia has more immigration benefits!

In addition, the further implementation of other welfare policies can also help Australian immigrants to be more assured of child care and old-age care at the same time.

The most well-known benefit in Australia's immigration benefits is the Medicare, or "universal health care". Publicly funded patients with Medicare have access to treatment, accommodation, care and further treatment after discharge from Australian public hospitals!

Medicare will pay 100% for the Australian km Hospital!

Of course, as a major educational power in the world, Australia's educational benefits to immigrants are also leveraged!

The first is the benefit of compulsory education: free compulsory education from primary to high school for 12 years (of course, the compulsory education here does not include private schools); the child allowance of the Ministry of Welfare is also available before the age of 18;

Then there are higher education benefits: college tuition is 2 to 3 less than international students, and you can apply for an government loan; after 18 years of age, you are entitled to a student allowance.

Australia's pension benefits are also very sound. In Australia, men are 65 and women 60 are entitled to pension benefits. This is a pure government benefit and a safety net for older Australians after retirement.

Whether or not you have a retirement provident fund (Super), or even no job in Australia, it will not affect you to go to (Centre Link) to get it!

Of course, in addition to these benefits, there are such benefits as maternity benefits, unemployment benefits, benefits for the disabled and patients, low-income benefits, first-time home purchase concessions and so on, and so on.

I have to say, Australia's government is really heartbroken for its people!

How can a friend who has read these benefits not be moved? Plus Australia's pleasant climate, friendly people, beautiful scenery, really want to emigrate every minute!
