Air ticket loss: immediately notify the airline of the local office and apply for replacement procedures.
Loss of traveler's check: immediately notify the bank issuing the cheque or the branch in Australia of the number of the lost cheque. Traveler's checks must be signed when they are used, otherwise the bank will not be liable for compensation.
