An Australian tourist booked the Beautiful Seaside house, a kitchen in an outdoor "dilapidated" basement, angrily suing the global travel giant, (Expedia), on court.

According to the Daily Mail, Canberra man Selby (Hugh Selby) had earlier booked $300 a night through Wotif, a travel booking website owned by the travel giant Yitzhixing, believing that the site promoted what it called "a lot of local information." You can make a reservation at ease.

However, when Selby arrived at the beach paradise of Rocky Point Beachfront Paradise), the base point of Oahu, Hawaii, he found that the conditions of the room did not match the description of the website.

Selby revealed that the whole house was dilapidated and had no sea view, like The Backpack Hostel, but he didn't pay for The Backpack Hostel.

Selby couldn't get in touch with the owner of the property, so he decided to contact Wotif to ask for a refund of $628.34 in accommodation. Wotif initially said it could offer a $150 credit card coupon. Wotif later said he could refund 15 percent or $95, raising the amount to $125.67 after being rejected by Selby. Still, Selby was not satisfied.

In the absence of coordination, Selby prosecute went to the Civil Administrative Tribunal of the Capital Territory, (ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal).

A Civil Administrative Tribunal in the Capital Territory recently ruled that Wotif had "misled and deceived" in violation of the Australian Consumer Act (Australian Consumer Law), and Selby received a full refund.
