Recently, Sydney has exposed a new problem.
It is reported that thousands of slot machine. Units can be found in hotels in Sydney's central business district alone.
Within a 415sqm area of Sydney's CBD, 3442 slot machine, units earn more than 300 million yuan a year.
Another 977 licensed slot machine have been assigned to bars and clubs, but only 691 slot machine units are currently in operation.
Sydney is one of the 105 municipalities of New South Wales.
A report funded by the new state alcohol gambling game department lists warnings for Sydney.
From 2016 to 2017, slot machine turnover in New South Wales exceeded 3 billion yuan.
The new state has been in "babysitter state" since Sydney introduced a curfew law in 2014, but it has not prevented residents from loving gambling.
According to the Financial Office's background report, slot machine profits will soar to 7 billion yuan by 2021.
Downtown Sydney is not the only part of the state with a large amount of slot machine.
Wolonggang (Wollongong) 's club has 2622 active slot machine, clubs and hotels with a total profit of nearly 160 million yuan.
The number of slot machine in Penrith, west of Sydney, is small, with only 2133 in the club.
Still, Penrith's slot machine net profit was higher than Wollongong's, close to 180 million yuan.
According to the 2016 census, New South Wales has the smallest amount of slot machine in the remote west, with a population of just 1056.
But each slot machine in the region can still make a profit of 37,999 yuan.
Justin Field, a spokesman for the Green Party, said the expected profits from slot machine by 2021 "show that government's policy to address gambling hazards within the community is a complete failure."
He said New South Wales already has the highest slot machine density in the world and has the highest gambling loss per capita in addition to gambling game resorts such as Macau.
